I want to thank all my 2009 sponsors for their support. Thanks to my fans for their encouragement and my racing friends for their tips about car setup and driving techniques. The first year of Late Model Dirt racing was a most eventful year for team MSR. Every time you get behind the wheel, you learn something and you get a little better. In 2008, we raced 40 races in 5 states. We came very close to a couple of wins but did not quite seal the deal. We made a lot of progress from that first Ice Bowl race (DNS) to the final event of 2008 at the National 100 (13th). It was a roller coaster type of year with great races followed by a few where we experienced equipment breakdowns, with a few minor wrecks thrown in for good measure
We finished 4th in points in the Sportsman division at Dixie Speedway for the 2008 season. 2009 looks to be even more exciting, we will compete in the Super Late Model division at Dixie Speedway. A bigger motor, a little more speed and lot more fun with a win or two is what we are hoping for in 2009.
